Specialist orthodontist, researcher and educator.
Dr Jed Lee is a specialist orthodontist registered on the General Dental Council’s specialist list. He trained at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Hospital at University College London and holds both Membership and Fellowship in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
His clinical expertise spans the full scope of orthodontic care, from early interceptive treatment in children to complex cases for adults. Whether a patient is considering treatment for the first time or has been told their case is complicated, Dr Lee brings the experience to plan it carefully and explain it clearly.
Excellent orthodontics is about more than straight teeth — it is about how treatment feels.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Lee is an active researcher and educator. He has published widely in respected peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Orthodontics, European Archives of Paediatric Dentistry and the British Dental Journal, and has presented his work at national and international conferences.
As a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol Dental School, he taught, supervised and examined the next generation of dentists, and he continues to mentor resident orthodontists preparing for their specialist examinations. For patients, this means their care is grounded in the most current evidence and the highest professional standards.
Above all, his approach combines healthy, functional and beautiful results with a genuine focus on how treatment feels — taking the time to listen, to explain each step clearly, and to make sure every patient feels informed and comfortable from the first appointment to the last.
Every case is planned carefully and conservatively, with the long-term result in mind.
Complex cases made understandable, so every decision is shared and informed.
Grounded in current research and the highest professional standards.
